COVID-19 RESPONSE IN LONDON

PROBLEM

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, NHSE set up an incident response known as Gold (strategic), Silver (tactical) and Bronze (operational) Commands in all regions across England. The system needed to change its way of working overnight. I was brought in to support a central London region's response unit and establish clear lines of communication and governance.

SOLUTION

Rapidly developed pathways, governance structures, risk procedures and lines of communication.

IMPACT

A cohesive and comprehensive work structure that is allowing the Command system to function sustainably, effectively and safely.
